Remote-first managed IT

The IT department your business would build if it had the time.

We run day-to-day technology for small and mid-sized businesses — the helpdesk your people actually call, the patching and backups nobody remembers to do, and the security work that's expensive to skip. One flat monthly rate, no per-ticket billing, no travel charges.

No long-term contract required · Month-to-month after the first term

24/7 Monitoring on every covered system
15 min Target first response on critical issues
Flat rate Per user, per month — support calls never add to the bill
Month to month After the initial term — no long lock-in
Who we're for

Businesses of 10–150 people that have outgrown "the guy who's good with computers."

There's a specific point where informal IT stops working. A server goes down on a Friday and nobody owns the fix. Software renewals show up that nobody approved. Someone leaves and their accounts stay live for three months.

None of that is a crisis on its own. Together, it's the reason small companies lose days of productivity and occasionally lose data outright. Our job is to make technology a line item you budget for instead of a problem you react to — predictable cost, documented systems, and a support desk that answers.

How remote-first works

Nearly all IT work is already remote. We built around that.

Password resets, failed updates, email problems, security incidents, server maintenance, onboarding a new hire — none of it requires someone in your building. Traditional providers still price as if it does, and bill you for drive time.

Being remote-first means your support doesn't depend on who happens to be free nearby. It also means a company headquartered in one place with staff spread across several others gets the same service everywhere, which a provider built around a service radius structurally cannot offer.

When something genuinely needs hands

Hardware fails, cabling gets cut, a router needs physically replacing. When that happens we coordinate a vetted local technician near you, brief them, and stay on the line while they work — you don't manage the vendor, we do. It's a small fraction of total tickets, and it's quoted before anyone is dispatched.

Services

Everything a growing business needs, under one agreement.

Response commitments

We put response times in the contract.

Every ticket gets a severity at intake, and every severity has a clock attached. If we miss it, it shows up in your monthly report — we don't get to quietly redefine what "urgent" meant.

Targets shown are for clients on a Managed IT agreement. Business hours are 8am–8pm ET, Mon–Fri; Severity 1 is covered 24/7.
SeverityExampleFirst response
Critical Site down, server offline, suspected security incident 15 minutes, 24/7
High A department blocked, email not flowing, shared app failing 1 business hour
Normal One user affected, printing issues, software errors 4 business hours
Scheduled New hire setup, equipment requests, planned changes 1 business day
Onboarding

Switching IT providers is the part everyone dreads. Here's how ours goes.

Week 1

Discovery and documentation

We inventory every device, account, license, and vendor relationship you have, and write it down in a system you can read. Most new clients have never seen a complete picture of their own environment.

Week 1–2

Stabilize the urgent things

Backups verified, MFA turned on, unsupported software flagged, admin passwords rotated out of the old provider's hands. This is the work that reduces risk fastest, so it happens first.

Week 2–3

Deploy monitoring and the helpdesk

Our agent goes on every machine, alerting routes to our on-call rotation, and your staff gets a short intro on how to reach us. From here, tickets are ours.

Week 4 onward

Roadmap and steady state

You get a prioritized technology plan with real costs and dates attached, reviewed every quarter. No surprise capital requests in December.

"The point of good IT isn't that people praise it. It's that they stop thinking about it."

Common questions

Before you call

If your question isn't here, ask it directly — we answer in plain language.

How is managed IT priced?
A flat monthly fee per supported user, with servers and network devices priced separately. Support calls and remote sessions are included — you are never choosing between fixing a problem and controlling the bill. Project work outside the agreement is quoted as fixed price before it starts.
Do we have to sign a long contract?
An initial term covers the onboarding investment, and after that the agreement runs month to month with 30 days' notice. We'd rather keep clients because leaving is easy and staying is better.
What happens when something needs someone physically on site?
We coordinate a vetted local technician in your area, brief them on the work, and stay on the line while it happens. You don't source or manage the vendor. On-site dispatch is quoted before it's scheduled, and in practice it applies to a small minority of tickets — hardware failure, cabling, and physical installs.
Is the helpdesk offshore?
No. Our engineers are US-based and we handle our own after-hours on-call rather than routing it to a third-party night desk. You get the same people who know your environment, not a script reader seeing your account for the first time.
What if we already have someone handling IT?
That's common and it works well. We frequently take the infrastructure, security, and after-hours load off an internal person so they can focus on the systems specific to your business. Co-managed arrangements are scoped the same way as full management.
How fast can you take over from our current provider?
Typical transitions run three to four weeks from signature to full handover. We can move faster in an emergency — if you've lost access to your provider or suspect a breach, mark your message urgent and we will triage immediately regardless of agreement status.
Do you support teams spread across different locations?
Yes, and it's one of the main reasons companies move to us. Distributed teams get identical support, security policy, and device standards wherever they work — something a provider built around a service radius can't deliver without subcontracting.
